Brake Pads
Brake pads made by Taparan® pulp has ideal friction resistance and heat resistance feature, which can be used to replace asbestos. 5% of Taparan® can achieve equal effect of 20% asbestos. It can effectively reduce brake noise, enhance friction resistance, shorten brake distance, prolong the service life and reduce the frequency of replacement.
Automobile Hoses
Taparan® fibre can be woven or knitted to strengthen the hoses of radiator, gearbox and turbocharger, stronger but light-weighted. That is because Taparan® fibre is more robust than the common materials for High Pressure hoses and even more of excellent heat stability and chemical resistance.
Automobile Tire
Taparan® fibre has been widely used in automobile and truck tires. Tire cord made of Taparan® fibre used in carcass, belt ply, cap ply and etc, can reduce the rolling resistance and energy consumption, which is named as “Green Tire”. Meanwhile, as rubber reinforcement materials, Taparan® fibre can increase the tire’s strength, abrasion resistance, heat release and tire grip, as well as decrease the shock and vibration due to bumping, to reach a faster brake, more stable driving and comfortable riding for the vehicles.
Synchronous Belt
Taparan® fibre has extra-high modules and abrasive resistance, this make synchronous belt stronger, with excellent tensile strength and breakdown resistance, and long life.
Nonmetallic Gear
Taparan® pulp and shortcut have high-temperature resistance, high strength, excellent abrasive resistance, and size stability. They are popularly used in nonmetallic gear, these gears are strong with less weight, lower noise and electric insulation and resistant to corrosion.
Clutch Disc
Taparan® pulp and Newstar meta-aramid fiber can be used as the skeleton reinforced materials of clutch disc. It has high temperature, abrasive resistance and size stability.
Automotive Interiors
Newstar is inherent flame retardant, which can withstand high temperature of more than 200℃ for a long time. It is difficult to ignite in the air and does not spontaneously combust, non-toxic and tasteless, with good dimensional stability, leading it to be an ideal safety material for automotive interior.
